Time next for Culinary Specialist Seaman Anna Stucke from Grapevine, TX who calls us from aboard the USS New York which is docked in New York City for the Commissioning Ceremony on Nov. 7th and also for Veterans Day on Nov. 11th. Seaman Stucke is the person who is baking all the special cakes in the shape of the USS New York for the Ceremonial dinner aboard the ship for dignitaries and invited guests.
Then we speak to Andy Mandell, known as "Mr Diabetes," and he tells us what it was like to walk 10,000 miles across America. He also fills us in about the Defeat Diabetes Foundation and the work they are doing with both civilians and veterans alike across the area.
Our next guest is 7 time Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook, now a Distinguished Fellow with the Heritage Foundation, who tells us that 'Conservatism is alive and well', especially after Tuesday's elections. He also enlightens us as to why Nancy Pelosi does not want to listen to the message that election sent our politicians in Washington, DC.
