The Captain's AMERICA Radio Show For Nov. 17th...


Welcome everybody to hour #3 of the weekday LIVE "The Captain's AMERICA" radio show heard on AM 1220 and FM 106.9 WSRQ Radio in Sarasota, FL.

We start out with our daily phone in question, "Were the Ft. Hood shootings an act of terror?," answers were 'yes' or 'mo'. The result was 100% to 0%, YES!

Our first guest is Frank Salvato, Managing Editor of New Media Journal, and Frank starts out talking about the Guantanamo Bay Detainees MIGHT be headed to a Federal Prison facility in Northwest Illinois. He also addresses the 'political correctness' in America that evidenced by the Ft. Hood shootings has KILLED people in America and it must stop! Frank talks about the NYC Terrorist Trial's and the huge risk of security it creates for NYC besides the expense.

Then 'Steve', our producer, and 'The Captain' talk about their feelings about having civilian criminal trials for these 5 9/11 Terrorist leaders on American soil. You will hear what 'The Captain' has been hearing from his FDNY, NYPD and 9/11 Families have been saying about this.

Time next for a LIVE call from Camp Taji, Iraq and U.S. Army Corporal Richard Barkemeyer from Davidson, NC and assigned to the 96th SBDE and a Public Affairs NCO. The Corporal tells us what it's like for him to be on his first tour of Iraq and as a Reservist, what it's like to be serving America.

Then the discussion shifts to the H1N1 Flu and how people 50 and older who have already had the Flu or a Flu Shot at least once in the past year, are at a LESSER risk of contracting the H1N1 Virus.
